Hello world! Sumair here. Through all the experimentation, study, and application of fitness and health concepts in my career, I realize that I am passionate about one recurring theme: Helping people take their perceived limitations, and turn them into stepping stones.

Nicolas Hall is an ACSM certified personal trainer who has 15 years of experience as a Track and Field athlete. He acquired a substantial amount of kinaesthetic awareness and mind/body connection as he competed in the 100m, 200m, 400m , and Long/High Jump events. Nicolas was presented the opportunity to qualify for the Jr. Olympic USA track team just after high school, but sustained some injuries that made him re-evaluate the direction he needed to take. Instead of pushing through it, he decided to look deeper, and decided to re-wire his movement, nutrition, mobility, and structural integrity.

Tess comes to TrainLifeFit all the way from New England. She’s an ACE certified personal trainer, 200hr registered yoga instructor, group fitness instructor and certified nutritionist. Tess spends most of her time either in the gym or in front of a computer as a freelance graphic designer and art director. Her fitness career began in New York City and brought her to Austin where she now teaches group classes, personal training sessions and competes in powerlifting.  She believes fitness should be fun and be a constant learning experience, always walk into the gym with a humble attitude and a will to work.

It took 21 years, but once Trigger was introduced to roller derby, it would be the start of her fitness journey. Growing up in South Louisiana, it was hard for her to understand what it meant to live a healthy lifestyle until she started cross training for roller derby. The passion for skating and fitness collided and she started pursuing a career in personal training. She is a NASM certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and has completed TrainLifeFit Academy.

Erin Laverone holds several fitness and nutrition certifications, has completed a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology, and has been coaching everyone from youth and college level athletes, to busy moms, to baby boomers, to corporate warriors for over a decade! Her current passion lies in helping busy professionals and older adults incorporate better movement, nutrition, and lifestyle habits within the context of their real and crazy lives!

Kila has always been an athlete, playing soccer through to a college level. At college, she found she loved not just playing sports, but kinesiology, anatomy and fitness as well. She holds a BA in Kinesiology, a MEd in Sports Administration and is a certified personal trainer. Kila loves taking the energy from her group classes and bringing it to a one on one session. Recently she's traded her cleats for lifters and competes in powerlifting in addition to teaching at TrainLifeFit.

Kit is the resident princess at TrainLifeFit and she rules with a humble demeanor. She really isn’t the most active member of our team and prefers to cuddle up in a warm lap or her bed while others do the heavy lifting. She will gladly offer her emotional support through all of the trials and tribulations of your fitness and nutrition journey. Allergic to canine royalty? Kit will peacefully retreat to her royal chambers if her presence is not requested.

Smokie is likely our most popular trainer at TLF. At just 3 years old, he’s already mastered athletic skills such as stretching, stalking, scurrying, jumping onto high objects, and looking down at people once on top of said high object. Looking to prep your body for a home renovation? Smokie is your guy. He’s fully trained in ripping up of carpets and demolishing of blinds, all with perfect form and execution. Allergic to Smokie? No worries, he takes no offense, and will kindly retreat to his apartment for a nap if anyone with an allergy is present in the gym.

Let's get started

The first step to molding a healthier life is to assess where you currently are. At TrainLifeFit that means you'll receive a complimentary movement assessment. In your movement assessment you'll work one on one with a trainer to discover your strengths, weaknesses, range of motion, posture, and overall mobility. With this information, we can then create a plan and decide which TrainLifeFit program will be the best pathway to your health and fitness goals.

To schedule a movement assessment, or if you have any other questions, fill out the form below. We can also be reached at 512.412.5648. We look forward to hearing from you!
