GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

INTRO TO MOVEMENT

This class introduces strength and conditioning at a fundamental level. Exercises and compound movements yield the best results when performed accurately with precise muscle engagement. In an Intro to Movement class, we learn effective, proper form of exercises, address mobility issues, and fix muscular imbalances. Easily catered to the individual so that both the seasoned or green athlete will learn something new and break a sweat! This class is designed for beginner to intermediate level athletes.

PRE-REQUISITE : MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT // DIFFICULTY LEVEL : 1


HYBRID STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Hybrid Strength & Conditioning moves at a faster pace than Intro to Movement. The class is a combination of strength, endurance, mobility, and fat burning conditioning. Learn more complex movements and be ready for a more challenging workout. Clients typically have an understanding of compound movements, abdominal bracing and the structure of a TrainLifeFit workout. This class is meant for intermediate level athletes whom have taken at least 3 Intro level classes.

MOBILITY MAINTENANCE

The tissues of the body retain stress in many ways. Injuries result in scar tissue and create imbalances in our anatomy cause knots, weaknesses and tension. Mental and physical stresses of our everyday lives often are held in our body tissues. Our mobility is taken for granted until we feel pain. In the Mobility Maintenance class we use techniques such as soft tissue massage, yoga, pilates, self-massage, breath work and calisthenics to release tension in the body. This class is designed to improve flexibility, movement mechanics and expand range of motion in the joints and tissues. All levels welcome.

ELEVATE STRENGTH : WOMEN'S ONLY CLASS

This is an empowering class for women to find freedom in the gym and their bodies. Teaching that strength is not something to be afraid of but a tool to create a stronger and healthier version of you. Ditch the dogma of strength and fitness for women. Clients will discover their inner strength by embracing exercises that they may have previously feared. In this class we break down complex movements, tackle the hard questions, ditch the dogma and empower women to new levels of fitness.

CONDITIONING

This is a fast paced class designed to keep the heart rate elevated, build endurance and tone the body through full body exercises. Each hour-long class touches on both compound movements and accessory exercises. Clients are challenged to keep proper form while working at a quicker pace with higher rep counts. This is not crossfit -- form is always the number one priority. In conditioning we still honor the fitness levels of our bodies and will not rush a movement simply for a time or strength goal. Members are required to take at least 3 Intro to Movement classes in order to ensure they have a foundation understanding of the exercises.

MASTERY

TrainLifeFit’s most advanced class offering - Mastery. Clients must be approved by their trainer in order to take the class. Mastery involves advanced techniques, concepts and requires full dedication from the client both in and outside of the gym. In Mastery, clients commit to a 4-week strength and conditioning program and are expected to attend at least 2 Mastery classes per week. Clients will be assigned homework to be performed outside of class and are responsible for tracking their workouts. Though the program is rigorous, the results are worth it. 

PRE-REQUISITE: APPROVAL FROM TRAINER // DIFFICULTY LEVEL : 5

For the individual who wants or needs personalized attention. Working one-on-one with a trainer at TrainLifeFit ensures the focus is solely on you and your strengths, skills, experience and goals. Sessions are detailed, intensive and customized. Your strength, conditioning, performance and physique are advanced in the fashion and techniques that work best for your body.

If you don't live in the Austin area, there is still a way to work with the TrainLifeFit team. We offer online training programing in which we construct a fitness program catered to your goals and your enviornment. You'll get unlimited one on one access with a coach. We check in with you to ensure you're working with proper form, feeling the correct muscles, and progressing properly.

Hello world! Sumair here. Through all the experimentation, study, and application of fitness and health concepts in my career, I realize that I am passionate about one recurring theme: Helping people take their perceived limitations, and turn them into stepping stones.

Whenever you walk into a session with me, you can expect an ALL IN holistic approach to actualizing your goals. This means that I am fully vested in every aspect of you moving, looking, feeling, and performing your best. All I ask in return is a continual pursuit of the process of attaining your goals. Your dream goals are extremely important to me, but what’s more important is that we execute on short-term goals like lifting more than we did last week, dialing in our food portions, optimizing our sleep, or focusing on our mobility throughout the day.

Our most successful clients are the ones that understand this, and dedicate themselves to doubling down on these above concepts. Alas, I am here to guide you through this mental shift as well! However, I invite you to meet me halfway by building habits that are sustainable and last the rest of your life. And as you see your mind and body change before your very eyes, we can begin to conquer goals you may never have thought possible. Nothing will ever be perfect, but my job is to simply re-empower you to make decisions that serve the healthiest and strongest version of YOU.

NIC

Nicolas Hall is an ACSM certified personal trainer who has 15 years of experience as a Track and Field athlete. He acquired a substantial amount of kinaesthetic awareness and mind/body connection as he competed in the 100m, 200m, 400m , and Long/High Jump events. Nicolas was presented the opportunity to qualify for the Jr. Olympic USA track team just after high school, but sustained some injuries that made him re-evaluate the direction he needed to take. Instead of pushing through it, he decided to look deeper, and decided to re-wire his movement, nutrition, mobility, and structural integrity.

With the commitment and involvement with TrainLifeFit, he found creative ways to move past injuries, become healthy, and get stronger/mobile in as many movements as possible. To add to this, he found the best ways to nourish himself to support his journey in looking, moving, and feeling his best! He has attended and completed TrainLifeFit Academy, which is a 3 month seminar set to hone his skills in helping clients move, look, and feel like the healthiest versions of themselves. Nicolas’ is a compassionate coach equipped with the experience and knowledge to intelligently accomplish your goals one step at a time.

TESS

Tess comes to TrainLifeFit all the way from New England. She’s an ACE certified personal trainer, 200hr registered yoga instructor, group fitness instructor and certified nutritionist. Tess spends most of her time either in the gym or in front of a computer as a freelance graphic designer and art director. Her fitness career began in New York City and brought her to Austin where she now teaches group classes, personal training sessions and is also competes in powerlifting.  She believes fitness should be fun and be a constant learning experience, always walk into the gym with a humble attitude and a will to work.
